Owner and President
The President of Fireside is the founder, the manager, the outside salesman and on some days the delivery guy and bookkeeper and often the installer. Small business requires a hands on attitude and Greig McCully enjoys making his customers happy. So you may find him in the store, you may find him building an outdoor cabinet, you’ll usually find him with a phone ringing off the hook and you’ll always find him working hard to help a customer project come to completion exactly as they wanted it, and on time.
After spending years in the medical device industry, Greig was ready for a change. Building wooden tables for family and friends and a love of cooking on his Big Green Egg created a marriage for Greig that inspired him to start Fireside. Cooking for Greig is not just a hobby on the weekends but a way of life that he enjoys with his family every chance he gets.
Greig’s favorite thing about outdoor cooking is that it allows family and friends to be together which is a rarity in our busy, modern times. He feels that cooking outdoors helps people relax and spend time together - something we can all use more of these days. However, he and his wife Kat, have a long standing disagreement about how long meat should “rest”.
When Greig is not designing outdoor kitchens or running the business, he enjoys fishing and boating. You’ll find him in the most remote place he can reach in a bay boat from the 80’s and searching for that personal best Striper or Redfish.
